A former fitness trainer and aerobic instructor, Darla was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and has had a passion for performing since the age of 4, when she performed in her first dance recital.

Throughout her life, Darla has been a dancer and involved in athletics, as well as taking acting and drama classes. She has been modeling throughout Florida since 1988 and is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Cheerleader (1988-1990). Over the years, she has been in numerous TV commercials, infomercials, and exercise videos.

Recently, Darla has decided to take the risk and pursue acting full time. Since May 2003, she has been in several films, and has gotten involved in stunt work and theatrical productions.
